The overall objectives of this project is to develop creative arenas for living handicraft traditions so that past knowledge re-enters the community and helps individuals in the communities to build identity and prosperity.
When communities build their future inspired by the knowledge of the past, they renew their connections to the environment and promote sustainable development in their communities as well as the world.
Cultural heritage is the future of memory.
The main partners in this projects are Midt-Troms museum, Troms, Norway, Arkhangelskmuseum for regional lore, Arkhangelsk, Russia and Ájtte museum, Jokkmokk Sweden.
